I created this recipe after trying the mother nature oaty slices, I found they were delicious but the ingredients list was long and full of preservatives and nasties. This oaty slice recipe is extremely easy and has all natural and healthy ingredients.
This version is the apricot and chocolate oaty slices however you can sub out those ingredients for others:
- Cocoa for afghan slices
- Lemon zest and juice for lemon meringue slices
- Chocolate chips for chocolate chip slices
- Orange zest and juice, and chopped dark chocolate for orange chocolate slices
- Sultanas and honey (with less liquids) for sultana and manuka honey slices
There's also several other combinations you can do.
