Bacon Wrapped, Cheese Stuffed Frankfurts

    These are a childhood favourite weekend lunch, that with the whole 'bacon' trend are coming back into fashion.

    Makes: 20 frankfurters

    • 20 mini frankfurters
    • 20 small slices cheddar
    • 10 rashers of bacon, halved
    • 20 toothpicks

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Preheat the coven to 180 degrees C. Line a baking tray with foil or baking paper.
    2. Place a long slit down each frankfurt and place in it a slice of cheese.
    3. Wrap each frankfurt in a piece of the bacon and add a toothpick to secure. Place on the prepared tray.
    4. Cook in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the frankfurter is hot throughout.
