This is a delightful steak salad where the salad can be prepared earlier and the meat pulled straight off the BBQ, diced and added.
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons oil
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 Romaine lettuce, sliced
1 tub cherry tomaotoes
1 cup grated cheese
Italian dressing, to taste
- Meat: Combine the soy sauce, oil and garlic. Rub over the meat and leave to rest while you light the BBQ and prepare the salad.
- Salad: In four bowls combine the lettuce, tomatoes and cheese.
- To Assemble: BBQ the steaks until cooked to your liking. Let rest while you clean the BBQ.
- Dice the rested steaks and place on top of the salad, then add the dressing, to taste.
