Cinnamon Butter Cookies
Cinnamon is a traditional Christmas flavour that complements perfectly these easy to make butter biscuits.

Makes: 42 cookies
1 cup butter, chopped
1 cup caster sugar
1 (60g) egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups plain flour
1 tablespoon McCormick Cinnamon, Ground
1/4 teaspoon McCormick Nutmeg, Ground
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Ginger, Ground
1/2 Teaspoon McCormick Salt
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Line two baking trays with baking paper.
- Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla then mix well. Gradually beat in flour, McCormick spices and salt until well mixed.
- Roll dough into half tablespoon balls and place on prepared trays. Flatten with a fork.
- Bake for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool cookies on baking tray and remove when cool and store in airtight container.
