BBQ Fish Tacos with Mango

Wonderful fish tacos with a smokey BBQ flavoured fish, made easy with BBQ sauce complemented with mango and avocado.

Serves: 6 

  • Rub
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, optional for extra spice
  • Fish
  • 2 fillets of white fish
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Taco Sauce
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • Taco
  • 6 soft tortilla shells
  • 1 cup thinly sliced cabbage
  • 1 mango, thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado, thinly sliced

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:25min 

  1. Rub: Mix all of the rub ingredients in a bowl to combine well.
  2. Fish: Coat the fish fillet on both sides with the rub.
  3. Add the oil to a barbecue over a medium heat. Once the oil has melted, place fish on the barbecue, cooking for 4-6 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  4. Taco Sauce: In a bowl combine the BBQ sauce, lime juice, salt and pepper until well combined.
  5. Taco: Assemble tortilla shells, adding the cabbage, mango, avocado and cooked fish. Top with the Taco sauce.
