Chili Infused Italian Hot Chocolate

    Italian hot chocolate (or cioccolata calda) is thick, rich and decadent. While technically a drink, this creamy chocolate concoction can easily be enjoyed as dessert. We make ours with a chili kick using Lindt chili dark chocolate.

    • 60g good quality dark chocolate
    • 60g Lindt chili chocolate
    • 100ml full cream milk
    • pinch of salt

    Preparation:2min  ›  Cook:3min  ›  Ready in:5min 

    1. Break chocolate into small pieces and place into a small saucepan. Add a little of the milk, stir on a low heat until the chocolate is melted.
    2. Slowly add the remaining milk, stirring continuously until well combined.
    3. Continue cooking over low heat until the mixture becomes thick and velvety and coats the back of a wooden spoon.
