Beetroot, Apple and Blueberry Oat Smoothie

    For days when you need an added boost. This low fat, super smoothie is packed full of delicious, nutritious ingredients such as oats, beetroot, apple and blueberry.

    Serves: 1 

    • 25g cooked beetroot
    • 2 tablespoons rolled oats
    • 100g blueberries
    • 150ml fat free natural yoghurt
    • 100ml apple juice

    1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and serve.


    Use other soft fruit or orange juice instead of apple juice. Try replacing the oats with wheatgerm. For extra sweetness try adding 1 tablespoon clear honey.
