Two Step Fizzy Lemonade

    This is the simplest homemade lemonade I have ever done. Ideal for cooling off during the summer months.

    Serves: 8 

    • 4 lemons, juiced
    • 225g caster sugar
    • 2 litres sparkling mineral water, chilled to serve

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:8min  ›  Ready in:18min 

    1. Pour the lemon juice into a saucepan over a medium heat, add the sugar and stir continuously until the sugar has dissolved.
    2. Pour the lemon juice into a serving jug then dilute with sparkling mineral water according to your taste.

    Quick and easy way to use up a lot of 'old' lemons. I used golden caster sugar and included all the 'bits'....some people may prefer to strain it. Lovely!  -  26 Apr 2015  (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)
