A delicious twist on houmous with the addition of artichokes and Kalamata olives. Great with pitta bread, breadsticks, etc.


Serves: 6 

  • 1 (400g) tin chickpeas, drained
  • 290g jar chargrilled artichoke hearts in oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 20 Kalamata olives
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation:10min  ›  Ready in:10min 

  1. Drain artichokes reserving the oil.
  2. Put all the ingredients in a blender, plus 1 tablespoon of the artichoke oil, and whiz to a smooth paste.
  3. Season to taste, then serve.
