This simple slice is topped with a lovely chocolate topping with a hint of cinnamon. The oats in the slice make it almost feel healthy.
Makes: 12 to 16 flapjacks
220g brown sugar
3 tablespoons golden syrup
100g chocolate, chopped
200g chocolate, chopped
1 teaspoon ground cinimon

Slice: Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Grease your baking tray.
Melt the butter in a saucepan, when the butter has melted take off the heat then add the sugar golden syrup and the chocolate, stir well. Add oats and stir well, then pour in baking tray and smooth out with the back of a spoon.
Bake for 15 minutes. When you take them out of the oven, don't stress about the flapjacks not being set because they will set as they cool.
Icing: Melt the butter, chocolate and cinnamon then stir well. Cool the topping in fridge for 1 to 2 hours.
To Serve:When flapjacks and topping are set and cooled, spread chocolate topping over flapjacks, score and serve.
