    We have all has chocolate hedgehog but I thought that this would make a good variation of the recipe and so far the kids have loved it.

    Serves: 20 

    • 400g plain biscuits
    • 100g walnuts
    • 50g desiccated coconut
    • 375g butter, melted
    • 220g cocoa powder
    • 1 (400g) tin condensed sweetened milk
    • 3 tablespoons drinking chocolate

    1. In a large bowl, break the biscuits with your hands into about 1cm sized pieces. Add the walnuts, coconut, butter, cocoa powder and the condensed milk. Stir together well with your hands.
    2. Place a double layer of plastic wrap onto a clean work surface and put half of the mixture in the middle. Using your hands, shape dough into a log about 5 to 7cm in diameter. Place log towards one end of the plastic wrap and start rolling the film tightly around the log. Twist the ends of the plastic and tuck them under the log.
    3. Repeat this process to make two logs. Refrigerate the logs overnight.
    4. When ready to serve, use a small sieve to sprinkle the outside of the logs with the drinking chocolate. Slice it with a sharp knife onto rounds to serve.
