Wagon Wheel Slice

    Larger than its industrial biscuit cousin this is a larger homemade slice style of the family favourite wagon wheel.

    Serves: 6 

    • 12 butter biscuits, homemade or purchased
    • strawberry jam, as required
    • 6 large marshmallows
    • 200g milk chocolate melts
    • 1 tablespoon of butter, melted

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Line up 6 biscuits and cover the flat side with the strawberry jam.
    2. Line up 6 biscuits on a grilling tray then place a marshmallow on top, place under a moderate grill and gently heat until soft.
    3. Sandwich the two biscuits together with the marshmallow and jam touching. The heated soft marshmallow should spread to the edges.
    4. When cooled the marshmallow will set to hold the two biscuits together.
    5. In a bowl ofer a simmering saucepan melt the milk chocolate, when melted add the melted butter and combine.
    6. Dip the top of each wagon wheel slice into the chocolate, leave to cool. Eat withing 24 hours.
