Banana ChocChip Muffins

My boys just love them. A simple, easy to make banana and choc chip muffin recipe that the whole family loves.

- 1 1/2 cups self raising flour
- 1/3 cup caster sugar
- 60g butter
- 2/3 cup mashed bananas
- half cup choc bits
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup milk

- Preheat oven to 190 degrees C. Line a muffin tray with muffin cases.
- Sift four and sugar into bowl then rub in butter with fingertips until resembles fine breadcrumbs.
- Add the bananas, choc bits, eggs and milk then lightly combine ingredients, they should have a lumpy appearance.
- Spoon the mixture into the muffin tray then cook in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
