This is the crumble topping that is a family favourite, the fruit under it changes from season to season, and sometimes includes tinned fruit, but the topping always remains the same.
Makes: 1 crumbles worth of topping
100g plain flour
25g caster sugar
20g brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Using fingertips rub together the flour and butter until it resembles breadcrumbs.
- Stir in the oats, caster sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Place the the crumble topping on the fruit combination you choose and cook until the fruit is soft and the crumble is brown.
