These meatballs are delicious and easy to make. Great to make for your family, I guarantee they will leave you with clean plates.

Serves: 4 

  • 1 brown onion, grated
  • 2 tablespoons crushed garlic
  • 1 tablespoons mixed dry herbs
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 500g mince
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tin condensed tomato soup
  • 1 tablespoon beef stock powder
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • splash of Worcestershire sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine grated onion, crushed garlic, mixed herbs, rice and mince. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well. Shape into meatballs and set aside.
  3. In a casserole dish, combine tomato soup, stock powder, water and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste and add meatballs.
  4. Cook in oven for an hour or until rice is done. Serve with mashed potatoes.
