Stack of Pancakes

This is a wonderful pancake recipe that allows me to create a stack of pancakes and bring them to the table so we can all eat together rather than me slaving over the stove while everyone else is munching out.

Ingredients
Serves: 4
- 1 cup self raising flour
- salt, to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon bicarb soda
- 1 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- tablespoon melted butter

- In a bowl sift in the flour, salt and bicarb soda. Make a well in the centre.
- Add the sugar, egg, milk and melted butter. Stir until it is a smooth batter, adding more milk if too thick.
- Heat a non-stick frypan until a moderate heat. Spoon in the mixture to make your desired sized pancake.
- Cook until bubbles appear on the top, flip and cook on the other side. Add to a plate and place in a warm oven until ready to serve.
- Repeat the steps and cook pancakes adding to the pancake stack on the plate.
