When I really need a quick meal on the table I make this tasty soup. I keep dumplings in the freezer so I am always ready to go.
4 cups (1 litre) water
1 tablespoon vegetable stock powder
2 carrots, sliced
2 cloves garlic, roughly diced
4 prepared dumplings, sliced
- Combine water and stock powder in a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Add carrots and garlic and simmer 5 minutes.
- Add dumplings and simmer until cooked and carrots are tender, a few more minutes.
