Paleo Garlic Prawns

    Coconut milk simmered with garlic makes a delicious sauce for fresh prawns as part of your paleo diet.

    • 1 tin coconut cream
    • 5 tablespoons minced garlic
    • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 500g prawns, peeled and deveined

    1. In a saucepan, combine coconut cream, garlic, ginger and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a simmer and simmer 10 minutes.
    2. Add prawns and simmer 5 minutes more, or until prawns are just done. If you like you can thicken the sauce with a little almond flour.
    3. Serve with steamed veggies.
