Quick and delicious, garlic prawns are a fantastic appetiser served with a baguette. They are just as good cold, too.

Serves: 4 

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 220g medium green prawns, peeled
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • salt, to taste

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:2min  ›  Ready in:12min 

  1. Heat a large frying pan and add the oil, garlic and prawns. Saute over high heat 1-2 minutes until prawns are just done and without burning the garlic.
  2. Add the wine and toss for 10 seconds until mostly evaporated. Sprinkle with a little salt.
