Basic Crepe Recipe


    These are a wonderful basic foundation crape recipe designed for any filling your heart desires. You can step up the recipe by using beer instead of milk.

    Makes: 12 Crepes

    • 3/4 cup flour
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 1/4 cups milk or beer
    • 1 teaspoon sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 tablespoon butter

    1. Sift the flour into a bowl. Add salt, egg and half the milk. Stir whisk until smooth. Add the second half of the milk and melted butter or vegetable oil. Let the batter stand for a few minutes.
    2. Cook the crepes as per normal practice keeping the batter thin.
