Barbecue Garlic Prawns

The best way to prepare prawns is on the barbecue so they are most flavourful and don't dry out. Add more garlic to the marinade if you like.


Serves: 2 

  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • pinch pepper
  • 10-12 large prawns, peeled and deveined

  1. In a bowl combine the oil, soy sauce, chilli flakes, garlic and pepper to taste. Marinate the prawns for 2 hours.
  2. Thread the prawns on skewers. Barbecue about 2-3 minutes a side until pink.
