Chocolate Dominoes

A very sweet little dessert which is perfect at Christmas. Kids like to decorate the little chocolate squares to look like the game of dominoes.

Ingredients
Makes: 24 dominoes
- Base:
- 110g butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups sweet digestive biscuit crumbs
- 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/2 cup pecans, diced
- Vanilla cream
- 60g butter
- 2 teaspoons instant vanilla pudding
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 cups icing sugar
- Frosting
- 90g baking chocolate
- 1 tablespoon butter

- Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the sugar, cocoa, vanilla, egg, crumbs, coconut and pecans. Press mixture into a 20cm square tin.
- Beat the butter until creamy. Stir in the instant pudding, milk and icing sugar. Add more icing sugar if needed, it should not be too liquid.
- Set aside 1/4 cup of the cream and spread the rest over the base. Chill 1-2 hours.
- Melt the chocolate and butter together. Spread over the cooled cream. Chill until chocolate is set.
- Cut into squares and use remaining cream to decorate like dominoes.
