When making a yoghurt cake, you use the empty yoghurt carton for measuring the other ingredients. This makes it super easy.


Serves: 8 

  • 200g cooking chocolate
  • 1 (150g) container yoghurt
  • 1 container's worth vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 container's worth sugar
  • 3 1/2 container's worth plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 eggs

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:45min  ›  Ready in:1hour 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Grease a cake tin.
  2. Melt the chocolate in the microwave with a little water, stirring regularly.
  3. In a food processor, combine all ingredients in the order listed. Mix until dough is smooth.
  4. Pour batter into prepared tin and bake 45 minutes, or until a skewer tests clean.
