Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownies

    Chocolate and peanut butter are the perfect combination in my opinion. Use smooth or crunchy peanut butter as you prefer.

    Serves: 10 

    • 150g dark chocolate
    • 75g butter
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 3 tablespoons milk
    • pinch salt
    • 200g peanut butter
    • 3 tablespoons flour
    • 1 tablespoon cocoa
    • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

    1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C. Grease a 20cm square cake tin.
    2. In a double boiler, melt chocolate and butter.
    3. In a bowl, beat egg, vanilla sugar, sugar, milk, salt and peanut butter with an electric mixer until smooth. Beat in melted chocolate and butter.
    4. Add flour, cocoa and baking powder then beat until smooth.
    5. Pour batter into cake tin and bake 25 minutes. Let cool and cut into squares.
