Chocolate Cake - Gluten Free

This is a basic chocolate cake made with gluten free flour. Nice by itself, or cover it with your favourite icing.


Makes: 1 cake

  • 100g gluten free flour
  • 45g cocoa powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 120g sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:40min  ›  Ready in:55min 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Grease a medium cake tin and line with baking paper.
  2. Sift together the flour and cocoa.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs. Add flour and cocoa, sugar and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and without lumps. Let rest 3 minutes.
  4. Pour into cake tin and bake 40 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes in the tin then cool on a wire rack.
