Egg-Free Chocolate Ice Cream

Chocolate ice cream for people who can't eat eggs or just don't like the taste. Very easy in the ice cream maker.


Makes: 2 cups ice cream

  • 1 cup (250ml) milk
  • 1 cup (250ml) cream
  • 50g sugar
  • 150g chocolate, diced or grated

Preparation:5min  ›  Extra time:3hours chilling  ›  Ready in:3hours5min 

  1. In a saucepan, combine milk, cream and sugar and bring to a simmer.
  2. Remove from the heat and add the chocolate, stirring until smooth. Place in the fridge to chill 1 hour.
  3. When chilled, freeze in the ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions. Let freeze in the fridge a few more hours before serving.
