Simple chocolate ice cream that you don't need an ice cream maker to make. Make sure you use fresh organic eggs as they will be raw.


Serves: 4 

  • 60g dark chocolate, divided
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 200ml cream
  • 4 tablespoons sugar, divded
  • 2 fresh eggs

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. Combine 50g dark chocolate and water and melt over a double boiler at low heat, stirring occasionally. Let cool slightly.
  2. Whip the cream with 1 tablespoon sugar until stiff, then fold into the chocolate. Grate the remaining 10g chocolate and fold in.
  3. Beat the eggs with remaining 3 tablespoons sugar until fluffy and fold into the chocolate. Pour into a container and freeze at least 2 hours.
