Double Chocolate Pear Tart

    A pear tart is an essential for autumn desserts! Try this version which has a layer of two chocolates and a cream top.

    Makes: 1 tart

    • 1 sheet shortcrust or puff pastry
    • 200g milk chocolate
    • 200g white chocolate
    • 4 pears, peeled, cored and halved
    • 1 egg
    • 100g sugar
    • 50g flour
    • 3 tablespoons cream

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Roll out the pastry and place in a greased pie tin.
    2. Melt the chocolates in the microwave or double boiler and pour over the dough. Distribute the pears over the top.
    3. Whisk together the eggs, sugar, flour and cream. If it seems too thick, add a little milk. Pour over the pears and chocolate. Bake about 30 minutes, or until set.
