Chocolate strawberries are super quick to make and an irresistible addition to an Easter or Christmas table.
480g milk chocolate, diced
1 teaspoon butter or margarine
500g large strawberries, with stems, washed and dried
- In a bowl over a double boiler, combine chocolate and butter. Stir, heating slowly, until smooth.
- Lightly grease a large plate.
- Holding each strawberry by the stem, dip in chocolate. Let excess chocolate drip off, then place on the plate. Chill strawberries 15 minutes before serving.
