Pumpkin Waffles


    Original waffle recipe with no sugar. You can serve with a little whipped cream, but they are so delicious as is. Note: they will not be as crisp as some waffles can be.

    Serves: 4 

    • 300g plain flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 2 eggs
    • 300ml warm milk
    • 100ml vegetable oil
    • 1 pumpkin puree

    1. In a bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and eggs. Mix well.
    2. Heat the milk in the microwave or in a saucepan then add the contents of the bowl. Stir until smooth. Add oil and pumpkin puree.
    3. The batter is ready. Heat your waffle iron and cook.
