    A five vegetable soup, simple to make, smooth, hearty and delicious. A lovely warming lunch with some bread.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 2 1/2 litres lightly salted water
    • 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
    • 4 carrots, peeled and diced
    • 1 turnip, diced
    • 170g green beans
    • 3 potatoes, peeled and diced
    • 2 vegetable stock cubes
    • salt and pepper, to taste

    Directions
    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:40min  ›  Ready in:50min 

    1. Bring the water to a boil. Add all the vegetables and the stock cubes. Cover and simmer 40 minutes.
    2. Once the vegetables are cooked, remove about a cup of the water. Blend with a stick blender, then season with salt and pepper to your liking.
