Air Fried Wedges

I love wedges, and now they seem healthier and easier that I am cooking them in my air fryer. As always serve them with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce.

Serves: 4 

  • 2 large potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • sour cream, as required
  • Sweet chilli sauce, as required

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:40min 

  1. Cut the potatoes into eighths or twelfths to create wedges. Try and keep as regular as possible so there is a consistent cooking time.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 180 degrees C.
  3. Put the potatoes in a plastic bag and add the oil. Jiggle the bag so the potatoes have a thin layer of oil on them.
  4. Tip the potatoes into the air fryer. Cook for 15 minutes then toss, return and cook for an additional 10 minutes, a little longer if the wedges are thick.
  5. Serve hot with the sour cream and sweet chilli sauce.

Practice Makes Perfect

It too me a long time to work out how long to cook the wedges for. If you always add the same amount of wedges, cut to the same size this will help you narrow down the best time for you so you get consistent results.
