Not quite cheesecake and definitely not custard, this dessert is lusciously, bananary (is that a word?) and delicious.
To toast coconut, sprinkle on baking tray and place under griller set at medium temperature, stirring occasionally until brown.
This was very nice. It tasted like custard cheesecake. I thought it was a bit sweet (others didn't) so next time I will not be adding sugar to the whipped cream that is folded into the cheesecake. I only used 4 bananas, which was plenty and the flavour went right through the cheesecake. Next time I will use a different biscuit base only because I am not a fan of the chocolate base. But overall this was sensational. Everyone, you must try this, it is highly recommended. - 07 Feb 2016
