Most people are used to red wine being used in mulled wine but I think white tastes much better. Adjust sugar to your own taste.


Serves: 4 

  • 1 bottle white wine
  • juice of 1 orange
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • juice of 2 mandarins
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5 cloves
  • 2-3 tablespoons brown sugar, to taste

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:35min 

  1. In a saucepan, combine wine, orange juice, lemon juice and mandarin juice.
  2. Add apple pieces, cinnamon stick, cloves and sugar to taste. Slowly heat over low heat. Do not boil, but allow to infuse for about 30 minutes. Strain and serve hot.
