Hazelnut Rum Balls

    Rum balls are super quick to make but always look so elegant. Perfect for Christmas. This recipe uses hazelnuts which you can crush easily in a food processor.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 40 rum balls

    • 200g cooking chocolate, grated
    • 200g hazelnuts, crushed
    • 100g icing sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
    • 2 egg whites
    • 2 tablespoons rum
    • 2 tablespoons water
    • 100g chocolate sprinkles

    Directions

    1. Combine all ingredients except sprinkles in a bowl and mix well. Form into small balls.
    2. Roll the balls in chocolate sprinkles.
