This is a cute finger food that crumbs prawns in crushed nachos chips, sounds a bit weird but tastes great.

Makes: 18 prawns

  • 1 egg
  • 250g nacho flavoured chips

Preparation:30min  ›  Cook:8min  ›  Ready in:38min 

  1. Prepare the prawns by removing the veins and shells, apart from the last bit of the tails. Clean, wash and pat dry.
  2. Place the eggs in a bowl and whisk. Crush the Nacho chips in another bowl, the crumbs should be about the size of bread crumbs.
  3. Get each prawn then dip it in the whisked egg then in the chip crumbs.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 180 degrees C.
  5. Place the crumbed prawns in the air fryer and cook for 8 minutes, or until the prawns and just cooked through.
  6. Serve with traditional nachos toppings like, sour cream, guacamole and salsa.
