Ham and Melon Skewers


    There's nothing like the combination of sweet melon and salty ham. They skewers look lovely at a barbecue or Christmas party.

    Serves: 6 

    • 1 honeydew melon
    • 300g cooked ham slices
    • rocket leaves, to serve

    1. Cut the melon in half and remove seeds. Cut into thick slices, then cubes (removing any peel).
    2. Roll each slice of ham up, then cut into two or three smaller rolls.
    3. Thread the melon and ham alternately on wooden skewers.
    4. Distribute the rocket leaves on a platter and arrange the skewers attractively on top.
