Sauteed Asparagus

    I love asparagus but am not a fan of boiling it, this simple sauteed recipe gives me the best results for flavour and colour.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • 1 tablespoon oilive oil
    • 1 bunch asparagus
    • sea salt, to taste

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. Heat a frypan over medium heat, then add the butter and olive oil.
    2. Add the asparagus and shake the frypan to combine the butter and oil, to coat the asparagus in the oil, and the to create a single layer of asparagus.
    3. It takes only about 10 minutes to cook (depending on the thickness of the asparagus), Try to turn about 3 time during this cook time.
    4. Towards the end of cooking season with salt to your personal preference.
