Marinated Soy Chicken Wings

    We like this delicious and easy marinade for chicken wings which has white wine, tarragon and mustard for a flavourful dinner.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 tablespoon oil
    • 60ml soy sauce
    • 60ml dry white wine
    • 1 teaspoon dried tarragon
    • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
    • 1 kg chicken wings
    • sesame seeds, for coating

    1. Combine oil, soy sauce, wine, tarragon and mustard in a mixing bowl. Add the chicken wings, toss to coat and marinate in the fridge 2-3 hours.
    2. Brush the oven grill rack with oil and grill the chicken wings over medium heat, basting with the marinade occasionally until cooked through.
    3. Remove from under the grill and brush with more marinade, then sprinkle sesame seeds to coat. Place back under the grill just long enough to brown the seeds on both sides.

    Delicious! A lovely change from sweet, sticky wings. I would also use this marinade for other cuts of chicken  -  29 Jan 2017
