Grilled Sesame Seed Chicken Drumsticks

    Juicy and flavourful chicken drumsticks, marinated in soy sauce, wine and tarragon and then grilled until golden.

    Makes: 8 drumsticks

    • 1 tablespoon oil
    • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 3 tablespoons dry white wine
    • 1 teaspoon tarragon
    • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
    • 8 chicken drumsticks
    • sesame seeds, as needed

    1. Combine oil, soy sauce, wine, tarragon and mustard in a bowl. Add the drumsticks, toss to coat and marinate in the fridge 2-3 hours.
    2. Brush the oven grill rack with oil and grill the drumsticks slowly, basting with the marinade occasionally until cooked through.
    3. Remove from under the grill and brush with more marinade, then roll in the sesame seeds. Place back under the grill just long enough to brown the seeds.
