Chicken Cordon Bleu Rolls

    Chicken, ham, cheese and a honey mustard sauce all served on a roll. This is for 12 sandwiches, feel free to adapt as needed.

    Makes: 12 chicken rolls

    • 200g sour cream
    • 4 tablespoons mustard
    • 4 tablespoons honey
    • 6 skinless boneless chicken breast fillets, pounded flat and halved
    • chicken seasoning, to taste
    • vegetable oil, as needed
    • 12 slices ham
    • 12 slices Gruyere cheese
    • 12 rolls, halved

    1. Preheat the grill. Whisk together the sour cream, mustard and honey. Chill until ready to use.
    2. Sprinkle the chicken with chicken seasoning. Place in a large frypan over medium high heat and drizzle with vegetable oil. Cook until browned on the bottom, then flip. Top with a slice of ham and a slice of cheese and continue cooking until cooked through and cheese has melted.
    3. Place the rolls under the grill, cut side up. Toast until lightly browned. Place a chicken piece on each roll and top with the honey mustard sauce.
