Smoked Chicken, Asparagus and Egg Pizza

This is a bit different from your usual pizza! You can often find quail eggs in Asian markets.


Serves: 4 

  • 200ml creme fraiche or sour cream
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon wholegrain mustard
  • 2 shop-bought pizza bases
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and quickly blanched
  • 200g smoked chicken
  • 8 quail eggs

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees C.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the creme fraiche with the egg yolk and mustard. Spread over the pizza bases and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Top attractively with the asparagus and chicken slices, then crack the quail eggs directly over the top. Bake 12-15 minutes.
