No Cook Apple Slice with Crumble Topping

    This is a great apple crumble slice, great for picnics and school lunch boxes. You can change the fruit to others if desired.

    Serves: 6 

    • Base
    • 1 (250g) packet Scotch Finger biscuits, finely crushed
    • 100g butter, melted
    • Crumble Topping
    • 5 Gingersnap biscuits, finely crushed
    • 5 Milk Coffee biscuits, finely crushed
    • 100g butter, melted
    • To Assemble
    • 2 cups pre-made apple sauce or stewed apples

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Line a 20cm x 30cm tin with non-stick baking paper.
    2. Base: Place the Scotch Finger biscuits and butter in a bowl and stir to combine. Press firmly into the base of the tin, smoothing the top with a spatula. Refrigerate to set.
    3. Crumble Topping: Combine the finely crushed biscuits with the butter and mix until the butter is absorbed and the mixture is crumbly.
    4. To Assemble: Spoon apple mixture over the prepared and chilled base. Sprinkle with the crumble topping. Slice to serve.
