Ultimate Cream Cheese Frosting

    This delicious and decadent cream cheese frosting uses mascapone cheese, cream cheese and cream. This icing is perfect for decorating red velvet cupcakes or carrot cakes.

    Makes: 850 g icing

    • 250g mascarpone cheese
    • 250g cream cheese
    • 150g icing sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 225ml single cream

    Preparation:15min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. Beat together the mascarpone cheese and cream cheese until smooth and fluffy. Add the icing sugar and vanilla and beat until smooth.
    2. Add the cream in batches, beating well after each addition. Beat until thick and creamy. Use to frost your favourite cake! This recipe should make enough to frost a two layer round cake.
