Cook the fusilli according to packet directions, about 12 minutes. 3 minutes before end of cooking time, toss in the broccoli. Drain.
Put the saucepan back on the stove and add the cheese, utter and cream. Simmer, stirring, until you have a smooth sauce. Add salt and pepper as desired.
Return the fusilli and broccoli to the pot and stir well. Serve.
