Chocolate Bananas with Peanuts

A favourite summer treat from childhood, you can chill these chocolate bananas until the chocolate just sets or serve them completely frozen.

Ingredients
Makes: 4 chocolate bananas
- 1 cup chocolate melts
- 4 firm bananas, peeled
- ice block sticks
- 1 cup roasted salted peanuts, finely diced

- Line a plate with wax paper.
- Place the chocolate melts in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and microwave 3 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Insert an ice block stick into each banana and dip in the melted chocolate, turning to coat (or use a pastry brush).
- Sprinkle the peanuts over the dipped bananas, place them on the plate and pop in the freezer for half an hour.
