This is a great warm dessert my mum used to make when peaches were in season. It works with nectarines too.
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 peaches, cut in half and pitted
1/2 cup toasted muesli (optional)
- Preheat the grill.
- In a bowl, combine the maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon. Put the peach halves in a baking tin, cut side up. Brush with the maple syrup mixture and grill until bubbling, about 5 minutes.
- Transfer the peaches to bowls and sprinkle with the muesli if desired. You can also serve with ice cream.
