Simple Apple Salad

    It's best to use green apples for this quick salad recipe as they tend to be tarter and more flavourful.

    Serves: 4 

    • 2 green apples, cored and grated
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • 3 tablespoons sugar
    • 1/4 cup fresh mint, finely chopped

    Preparation:10min  ›  Extra time:40min chilling  ›  Ready in:50min 

    1. Combine the grated apples and lemon juice in a bowl and mix well (the lemon prevents the apples from browning). Let rest 10 minutes.
    2. Sprinkle over the sugar and mint and mix well. Chill 1/2 an hour, or until ready to serve.
