Shazzie's Ferrero Rocher Style Slice (I Call It Sharrero Slice)

    OMG go no further if you love Ferrero Rocher chocolates. This is to die for. This is also my own creation. Enjoy.

    Serves: 8 

    • 213g dark cooking chocolate, for base
    • 213g milk cooking chocolate, for base
    • 2 (125g) packets Aldi(TM) hazelnut wafers
    • 6 big heaped dessertspoons nutella
    • 250g whole hazelnuts
    • 284g milk cooking chocolate, for top
    • 142g dark cooking chocolate, for top
    • 120g butter
    • 50g crushed hazelnuts

    Preparation:25min  ›  Extra time:2hours chilling  ›  Ready in:2hours25min 

    1. Line a 9 x 13 inch (23x33cm) dish with baking paper.
    2. Melt the dark and milk chocolate for base together and spread over bottom of dish. Before chocolate sets, cover with a layer of wafers, cutting to fit. Refrigerate till chocolate sets.
    3. Spread wafers with the nutella, then top with the whole hazelnuts.
    4. Melt the dark and milk chocolate for the top together with the butter. Pour over the hazelnuts.
    5. Sprinkle with the crushed hazelnuts, then refrigerate until set.
