Lemon, butter and anchovies make a very versatile condiment that can be a spread on toast as an appetiser, used as a salad dressing or on boiled potatoes or anywhere you like.


Serves: 4 

  • 150g unsalted butter
  • 100g anchovy fillets
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 teaspoons almond meal

Preparation:10min  ›  Extra time:2hours chilling  ›  Ready in:2hours10min 

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mash until smooth and combined. Chill in the fridge 2 hours before using.
